The flu

It has been awhile since I have updated, but yes we are still alive. Life has been busy of course, but this past week and still today the flu has hit the kids and hit them hard. I need to go check on Tyler. I will catch up later.

I love Garage Sales!!

Sean, his mom, and his grandpa went a few garage sales yesterday and they brought home 3 great toys!! They picked up a play grocery cart, a big fireman tent, and a keyboard with a microphone all for $8.50!! The kids are in heaven! Sean went again this morning with his mom and grandpa. They haven't returned yet so I don't know if they found any bargains.

Yesterday we went to my dads. Dad and Bobbie bought one of those inflatable pools. It is pretty big actually. The kids love it! It was fun to hang out over there with dad, Bobbie, Taralynn and her kids. I can't believe how big her kids are getting to be. Jeremiah and Jacob are such handsome and well behaved boys. (must get it from there mom- ha ha) Rebekah is so pretty and Josiah is so cute! I am glad we were able to spend some time with family.

Another day

Well, Wednesday has come and gone I don't really have much to show for it.

I woke up around 8am and started my day off with laundary! I was completely caught up on folding clothes and then I did 3 more loads so I am AGAIN at the bottom of Mt. Laundary. It never ends! The sad part is that I actually enjoyed doing it today! Man, I have got to get out of the house more.

Sean didn't have to work so it was nice having him around today. We actually ate lunch at home! After lunch we headed off to run a few errands. We went to the Faulsticks to pick up some Sean's computer material he needs to be studying. Then we went to wash the car. (The kids thought that was so fun!) Then we went to the Dollar Store to let Tyler redeem his Bonus Bucket points. I seriously must be the cheapest person because I just LOVE Dollar Tree! I couldn't believe all the great things I found there. I hate to admit it but I think the Dollar Tree was the highlight of my day! :) We came home and I left again with Sean's mom and grandpa to go to Sam's Club. ( Another favorite store of mine!) Sean watched the two older children at home so we wouldn't be completely slowed down. Isabelle was so funny. She was pretending she was ice skating on the floor people were just laughing at her. My daughter already the class clown and not even in school yet. I find as I walk through Sam's Club that my wish list or my wants list just gets longer and longer. I can't wait till we get a house! There is so much I want to do!!

Tonight I made dinner. Nothing too exhausting for me- cheeseburgers, mac and cheese and fruit. I was so excited for 9pm to hit so I could start putting my darling children to bed. I wanted to scrapbook and attempt to make the girls some hair bows.

It's almost the weekend?!

I know, I know, I am sure it is getting old when I say that time flies by, but it is so true!!

We have been busy with all the summer activities. Too bad the beach isn't one of those activities this year. Yesterday, we went and saw Barnyard. It is an older movie, but the cinemas' are playing children movies every week during the summer for free!! It was a cute movie. It was fun for me to watch Isabelle. It was her first time to the movie theater and she was just smiling and eating her candy. She said she was going to watch the "big t.v.". After the movie we went to the Faulsticks for lunch and then on to the library to see Conner the Juggling Clown. It was so cute watching the kids clap and laugh. Nothing is better than hearing the laughter of little children. (Well, maybe watching them sleep is right up there too!!) :) After the library I came home to take a shower. I had Ethan strapped in his car seat, but in the bathroom with me. Isabelle was sitting next to Ethan like she normally does. She likes to sing to him and play with him. Well during the shower I had a thought to peek out and look at Ethan. Thank goodness I listened to the spirit because Isabelle tried to turn her little brother into a Pez dispenser! She had put 4 Pez candies in his mouth!! I jump out of the shower and picked the candies out of his mouth. I found 2 more in his car seat and 1 stuck to his shirt. So, total she tried to put 7 candies in his mouth. I got on her and of course she cried. Isabelle is a hand full!!

Well, since yesterday was a busy day I said that I wasn't going to go out today. I did get alot accomplished around the house, but I left around 5:30 this evening. This neighbor girl comes and stays for hours at a time. She is driving me freakin nuts! Sean's parents are letting her in even though they don't really care for her either. She is so annoying. I just had to leave, so I went to the Faulstick's house, of course. We ate dinner and had some ice cream! Thanks Sarah for saving me!!

Well, the kids are asleep and Sean is working I am off to work on scrapbook pages!

Pictures

Here are some pictures of the kids in the month of May. Look how big my babies are getting!

Weekend

Saturday- We went to Shawn and Lisa's house for Great Grandpa's 78th surprise birthday party. I have been in a bad mood this past weekend so I was kind of dreading getting together with everyone, but surprisingly I enjoyed the time I spent with the family.

Sunday- We went to the Corydon Branch for the Ross's baby blessing. Sean went up in the circle for the blessing. I felt the spirit so strong just watching the blessing be performed! I love the priesthood and the blessings in my life that come from the priesthood! I am grateful to the Ross's that they asked Sean to be there. I think that really lifted my spirits.

Later in the day I attempted scrap booking with the kids. I did get a few pages finished! :) We played games with the kids and great grandpa. I am so happy the tv is turned of on Sundays. I really think it makes a difference for our family on how we treat the Sabbath day!

Can't Believe it is June!

Time is flying by! I wish life would slow down just a little bit!

Today was the last day of school for Tyler. But he does have to read every day and do one worksheet each day during the Summer. Well...maybe not EVERYDAY! I will give the boy a break every now and then! ;)

Today I took the kids to Chuck E. Cheese. Tyler was having nightmares and running out of bed and climbing into our bed so, Sean made a deal with Tyler. If Tyler would be brave and stay in his own bed EVEN when he got scared then after 1 month we would take him to Chuck E. Cheese. Well Tyler did it!! Great job Tyler! I know it was hard because he wakes up a lot during the night and I would tell him that everything is alright. He was very pleased with himself. He told me that today was his special day to go to Chuck E. Cheese. Tonight when we got home Tyler asked, "Mom since I already went to Chuck E. Cheese do you think I can sleep in your bed now?" Nice try Tyler but no. :)

Today we also went to Sam's to buy Huggies diapers for Ethan. My last child and he can't even wear generic diapers. I am so mad! I don't know what it is with him, but he leaks ALL THE TIME if he isn't wearing Huggies. Silly mommy let the Huggies run out and instead of running all the way down to Sam's Club I went out and bought a pack of generic diapers to hold him over until I could go to Sam's, but he has leaked nonstop. Last night Ethan leaked through his clothes 3X during the night! Talk about a mad mommy. Oh well, it was my fault!

Next stop Old Navy only for mommy! :) I bought 2 shirts with my leftover b-day $. The kids were SO good. I did bribe them with the super bouncy balls for .25 cents each though. Hey, it is not everyday I can buy peace and quiet for .75 cents. Thanks kids!

We headed over to the Faulsticks of course. Sean and Eddie got done with work early. :) We order Applebee's To Go. Yum! I got some new Hawaiian Burger meal. The kids played and we just hung out and watched t.v. and talked.

What a great day!
